"I like small projects, or small parts in bigger ones, where I make an impact, but not get terribly caught up in politics and drama. For example, on a whim and a few nights' work, I did the background art for the Growl disk image."

Desk Labels
Since the birth of the Mac Desktop, files have been placed on it haphazardly. There have only been 2 solutions to make sense of our Desktops: either shove our files into piles which easily get confusing, or hide them in subfolders. Finally Mac users can use DeskLabels to label groups and piles of folders on their Desktops!
Using DeskLabels is a breeze: just click the DeskLabels Menu Bar icon, choose "New Label", name it what you will, and move it where you want. Organize your Desktop however you'd like, and easily rearrange and change the groups as you go!

Do you pine for the days of yesteryear, when one could explore the inner workings of the phone system with nothing more than a soldering iron and bag of parts from Radio Shack?
Now you can pretend to relive the glory days of Phreaking with Phreak Box! Unfortunately, those tones won't do anything to modern switching equipment, but you can still have fun.
Phreak Box includes the most popular tone generating "boxes": of course, the famous Blue Box, as well as a Green Box, Red Box, and Silver Box. Learn more

The balance between backing up that your latest saved game or text messages and waiting an hour for your phone to sync is a delicate one. Now, you can easily sync without waiting for the backups, and just as easily re-enable them whenever you like.
Backup Disabler has a 5 star rating and over 10,000 downloads on MacUpdate. Learn more
