The purpose is to have a software capable of reading remote temperature from a technical installation (a swimming pool). The usb interface has been changed. Now the Arduino board comes with the many analog inputs I needed. The software is based on Matatino to start with. Other frameworks will be added ;-) Some delay with the temperature sensors samples. Light, UV-Light and flooding sensors will be added. A mockup of the installation has been drawn. Cabling problem solved. Sensor interface is working, the right temperatures are read. Learn more

Plugin FileMaker GateOpener

A FileMaker database needed to open a door, when certain condition are met, e.g. you have been recognised as a member. The FileMaker call the GateOpener plugin and the plugin send a command to a USB interface (P8055-1 from Velleman) that triggers a relay that opens the gate. A previous version (MacOS 9) was working for over 10 years using a MacIO interface. The new version in MacOS X based.

What I did: "Designer and coder of the plugin. Chooser of the interface and implementor of the hardware. "

THTouch - Texas Holdem Poker

THTouch is a Texas Hold'em Poker game that I started to work on in March 2008, when I didn't have a Mac and the App Store wasn't open yet. I beta tested it in the jailbreak community. It did pretty well and I'm still very happy with it today. Learn more

What I did: "I did all of the programming, and designed many iterations myself, but got help in the final design, although it wasn't finished yet, so I invested a lot of my own time again to create missing pieces of artwork myself. I also took care of the webpage, all promotions, and advertising (the little there was)."

Hemispheres - Duel Your Brain

Hemispheres is a brain teaser game.
You let both your brain hemispheres compete, since you need each of them for one of the two tasks you have to solve simultaneously and against the clock.
Mix colors, do basic math. Its much harder than it sounds. Learn more

What I did: "I did all of it myself. I used some licensed sounds and artwork, but again created a lot of it myself which I had to pay dearly with my time ;-) For this game I used cocos2d and it has been a tremendous help, compared with doing everything manually and without OpenGL in THTouch. Lesson learned (although, cocos2d hadn't been around back then, I guess)"

Accident Reporter

A simple application which allows the user to report a traffic accident in real-time. The application uses Core Location to determine a user's location, and then extracts the latitude and longitude for inclusion into a Google Maps URL which is sent to a local radio station/police accident reporting e-mail address.

Finally, the first mobile instructional application for windsurfing is reality!!
You bring the Tricktionary book everywhere, but it suffers from taking it to the beach and travelling with it? You don’t have and don’t want to carry a mobile DVD player everywhere you go?
